A Diverse, Spirited Campus

Discover a diverse campus with a spirit all its own.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Students learn best in a community that spans a wide range of experiences, traditions, identities, perspectives, and beliefs.

That’s why Wooster students, staff and faculty come from all over the world, and from rural, urban, and suburban communities across the U.S. The student body hails from 43 states and 59 nations. Twenty percent are U.S. students of color. Fifteen percent are international students.

Something for Everyone

A third of Wooster students perform in at least one musical ensemble, a third compete in intercollegiate athletics, and a quarter participate in theatre or dance.

Their interests are varied enough to support more than 120 student organizations, from ballroom dance and Model U.N. to five a capella groups and an investment club that manages $5.6 million from the college’s endowment.

Campus Traditions

And no matter their individual passions and pursuits, every Wooster student develops a special relationship with a Tootsie Roll, and hopes for at least one snow storm big enough to fill the Arch.
