Wooster graduates go on to achieve success at every level of society. And so can you!

Your interests and talents are a great fit for our distinctive academic community. You will take advantage of the unique ways students and professors conduct collaborative research, whether it’s in the sciences or humanities.

Since 2002, U.S. News has asked college presidents and deans which colleges provide the best undergraduate research opportunities and senior capstone experiences. Only two schools have made both lists each year: Wooster and Princeton.

Every Wooster student, in every academic major, works one-on-one with a faculty mentor to conceive, plan, and complete their own original research, scholarship, or creative expression.

The results of this collaboration speak for themselves—96% of Wooster graduates are employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation and 91% of Wooster graduates are accepted into their top choice graduate schools.

Wooster also is proud to be Ohio’s most global campus, comprised of students from 68 countries and 48 states. Because of this, Wooster’s campus boasts a distinctive spirit all its own, from rugby to cricket and A Capella to bagpipes… to name a few! And all this within one hour of Cleveland, Ohio—one of the Midwest’s most vibrant cities.

Ranked alongside Stanford and Princeton, Wooster provides a world-class education within reach of most families, with scholarships of up to $37,000 available annually.

We know that the pandemic has created some unique challenges as you explore college choices. Wooster is safely welcoming families to campus during weekdays and select Saturdays for a campus tour (seniors also have the option to interview with an admissions representative).

We invite you to discover for yourself all Wooster’s diverse and vibrant campus community has to offer. Schedule an individual visit experience or join us for a virtual event to explore campus, and learn more about mentored research, career and academic advising, and our generous scholarships. All visitors must register in advance. To prepare for your visit, be sure to check out the Admissions Visitor FAQs.
