Valued up to $40,000 annually, the Dean’s Scholarship recognizes a student’s overall academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, leadership, and personal merit. First-year students who apply for admission are automatically considered for this award and do not need to submit additional credentials. Nearly two-thirds of students offered admission receive a Dean’s Scholarship.
To support our efforts to enroll a diverse, talented group of first-year students, Wooster offers a number of competition and performance-based scholarships. We also are proud partners of organizations like SAGE Scholars, which encourages students to consider their college options early. Check out each scholarship program below to learn more about the selection process and important deadlines. As a test-optional school, Wooster does not consider SAT or ACT scores in consideration of any merit-based scholarship.
