President Bolton on SCOTUS ruling to uphold 1964 Civil Rights Act barring sex discrimination in workplace
President Bolton issued the following statement in response to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling Monday, June 15 to uphold the 1964 Civil Rights Act barring sex discrimination in the workplace:
“We applaud today’s Supreme Court ruling upholding the 1964 Civil Rights Act barring discrimination in the workplace based on sex, and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring individuals of all backgrounds and identities can live, learn, and thrive at Wooster free from discrimination. We stand alongside our LGBTQIA+ staff, faculty, and students this Pride month and celebrate their many contributions to our community.”
