The President’s Annual Report 2022-23 edition of Wooster magazine reflects year’s achievements and looks ahead
When students embark on an education at The College of Wooster, they become a part of a legacy of liberal arts learning, ready to research, inquire, and discover; to debate, address, and amend, and finally to push that knowledge forward with the support and encouragement of a community of Independent Minds, Working Together. As we look ahead at what’s next for the College with the Inauguration of President Anne E. McCall this fall, The President’s Annual Report 2022-23 fall edition of Wooster magazine highlights the many ways The College of Wooster Community has supported this mission in the past year.
The annual financial report details College operating revenues and expenses and the year’s giving and fundraising activity and features donors who found ways to support programs and priorities at Wooster in the past year that enhance student experiences and the College community, including gifts supporting scholarships and student success, sustainability, and library services. The issue also highlights the 30th Anniversary of the AMRE program, Alumni Weekend 2023, Distinguished Alumni, and reviews several key accolades and events from the past year. Alumni from the Class of 2023 share their next steps after graduation and how their Wooster experiences prepared them for their new careers and graduate programs.
Looking at the future of the College, coverage of the Inauguration of President Anne McCall highlights the Inaugural address and panelists from Wooster faculty and alumni as well as guests from other academic institutions who participated in a liberal arts series of open dialogues in honor of the Inauguration.
Reaching mailboxes in early December, The President’s Annual Report 2022-23 edition of Wooster is available online here and past issues of the magazine are available in the Open Works repository.
