Making this one-of-a-kind educational experience accessible and affordable to all admitted students is among our top priorities. That’s why over 85 percent of students at The College of Wooster receive financial aid, including the opportunity to earn up to $38,000 per year in merit scholarships as well as need-based financial aid for those students who are eligible.

Wooster’s commitment to affordability by providing generous financial aid awards was validated by LendEDU consumer report, which ranks Wooster sixth in the nation, and second in Ohio, for best colleges for financial aid. The study rated 829 colleges and universities in the U.S. weighing three factors: need-based financial aid (60%), non-need-based financial aid (34%), and financial aid for international students (6%). Wooster also recently established a “Tuition Free Guarantee” for students who are eligible for the Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG).
