Jennie Saliers

Jennie Saliers ’83

Jennie Saliers ’83, alumna and trustee, is a consultant on non-profit organization management. She is also on the board of Actor’s Express, a theatre company in Atlanta, and volunteers with Planned Parenthood Southeast. She earned her degree at Wooster in history and has served the College on the Board of Trustees since 2013. She has been an alumni admissions representative, co-class president, and regional leader of Scots in Service, and has been active in the Atlanta area on behalf of the College. Saliers and her husband Bill Levisay ’83 established the Saliers-Levisay Endowed Scholarship for students majoring in history or religious studies.

Brooke Krause

Brooke Krause

Brooke Krause is an associate professor of economics, business economics, and global and international studies. She completed her M.S. and Ph.D. in applied economics at University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and earned her B.S. in economics, international studies, and Latin American studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Krause is a development economist with interests in gender, health, education, and poverty reduction strategies in low-income countries. Her most recent research focuses on the impact of a group saving and lending program on women’s empowerment in northern Tanzania. At Wooster, she teaches Econometrics, International Economic Development, Health Economics, Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory, and a First Year Seminar on Global Health and Inequality. She received a prestigious grant from the Gates Foundation, IFPRI, and USAID to support her work on Gender, Agriculture, and Assets, and in 2019 was the recipient of the Community Enrichment Award from the NAACP of Wooster / Orrville. Krause is the faculty advisor for the inaugural Social Justice Internships this summer for students to work with organizations in Wayne County.
