Scot Council exists to serve as the collective voice of the student body to the faculty, staff, administration, and the Board of Trustees. It is the unwavering purpose of Scot Council to ensure and protect the welfare, well-being, and best interests of all students of The College of Wooster.
Scot Council strives to serve the student body by:
- Advocating for student interests, including to administrators, faculty, staff, and the Board
of Trustees - Recommending on matters it deems appropriate and submitting these recommendations to the appropriate campus body including the President of the College and the Board of Trustees
- Overseeing the allocation of funds to student organizations and officially recognizing student organizations
- Providing services and events catered to enhancing the student experience at The College of Wooster.
