Guaranteed Minimum scholarship of $128,000 for Ohio Students

Ohio students who are eligible for the Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG) as demonstrated by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are provided a “Tuition Free Guarantee” at Wooster. First-year students from Ohio, entering the College in the fall of 2022, are guaranteed a Dean’s Scholarship totaling $128,000 over four years, or $32,000 annually. After completing your application for admission to Wooster qualified applicants will also automatically be considered for up to an additional $5,000 per year in scholarship money!

Applying to Wooster

Choose to complete either the Common Application or the Coalition Application (not both).

Submit the Following Required Materials:
—High School Transcript
—Secondary School Report, including the Counselor Recommendation
—Teacher Recommendation
—Essay, included in either application noted above
Early Decision Agreement – this contract is required for Early Decision applicants only.

Optional Components Include:
—ACT or SAT scores, please review our Test Optional admission policy.
—Test scores will not be used in consideration for merit-based scholarships.
—Interview with an admissions representative (it is required for consideration for the College Scholar Award)
