Minorities in STEM is a student lead organization with the goal to promote underrepresented minority and neurodivergent student involvement and participation in co-curricular STEM-based activities in order, to attract, recruit, and retain more students in the STEM field.

The organization works to strengthen the link between students in STEM and faculty to create a supportive community on campus. We also work to promote awareness of diverse careers in STEM through shadowing, professional conferences, and Alum panels. MiSTEM also promotes career and internship opportunities for international students in STEM and facilitates connections to STEM professionals, faculty, and alumni. We work to create a healthy environment that promotes better mental health and open discussion about it in STEM and include and integrate different areas of STEM through research, projects, ensuring collaboration and inclusion of all branches.
