Harlem Globetrotters’ “Pushing the Limits” World Tour Coming to Timken Gym on Jan. 6

WOOSTER, Ohio – The College of Wooster is proud to welcome back the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters for a night of entertainment like no other on Monday, Jan. 6, as part of their “Pushing the Limits” 2020 World Tour. Their ball-handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, comedic hijinks, and constant fan interaction, as well as the Washington Generals, will be on display at Timken Gymnasium, starting at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $30 (or $23 with a College ID) and will be sold at the Scot Center during the Steve Smith Holiday Hoops Classic on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and during the “Mose” Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Classic on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 28-29, from noon-7 p.m. each day. They also are available for purchase any time via HarlemGlobetrotters.com.
This will mark the second time in three years the Globetrotters have come to Timken Gymnasium. Their first visit to Wooster came in 2001 when they played a game at Wooster High School.
In addition to the one-of-a-kind family entertainment and dazzling basketball skills, the “Pushing the Limits” World Tour will include a live world record attempt during each performance.
The Harlem Globetrotters® are legendary worldwide. For the past 93 years, they have showcased their iconic talents in 124 countries and territories on six continents, often breaking down cultural and societal barriers while providing fans with their first-ever basketball experience. Inductees of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the Globetrotters have entertained hundreds of millions of fans.
