The U.S. Department of Education requires colleges to have a ‘net price calculator’ on their websites.
Wooster utilizes the Department of Education’s calculator which is based on the 2017-2018 academic year. It asks you to answer a small number of questions and then reports the average aid for the 2017-2018 academic year received by students with financial profiles like yours. Its virtue of simplicity, however, means that its calculations are not precise.
If you are a high school senior and would rather receive a personalized estimate of your scholarship and financial aid award, please see our Early Aid Estimator. This service will provide a customized and a much more accurate estimate of your aid than any net price calculator. We encourage you to consider using this terrific planning tool.
Meantime, for additional information about investing in a Wooster education, please visit our Financial Aid and Merit Scholarships webpages. My colleagues and I also welcome your calls, emails, and visits to the financial aid office.
