Our club’s purpose is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all kinds of students to participate in Live-Action RolePlay, or LARP. Each week, members gear up with boffers (a sort of padded weapon or shield), get assigned a role or character, and set off on an exciting 2-hour adventure! Whether it be fighting goblins, entering a tournament with a clan of frost giants, or helping a yellow sponge protect a secret burger recipe, you’ll get a chance to fight (in a safe and responsible manner) to your heart’s content.

Other events we hold are a semesterly craft day, as well as the occasional parlor LARP. During craft day, you’ll have a chance to examine all the offered boffers and even have a chance to make your own! For a Parlor LARP, you’ll be given a base for a character, and sent into a scene with an emphasis on roleplay rather than combat; perhaps a meeting of the high council of elves, or a mysterious masked ball held on Halloween night.
