- Shop (and donate) at nearby thrift stores
- Keep the windows closed during winter
- Use the ScotShare electric vehicles for local errands
- Clean your plate (less food waste)
- Be a climate voter
- When purchasing online, bundle shipments together
- Take a hike at a local park
- Advocate for environmental policy by calling your representatives’ offices
- Volunteer with an environmental group
- Host an environmentally themed book club, party, or dinner
- Walk or bike around town instead of driving
- Start birding – Northern Ohio is a great birding destination
- Speak up! Let others know the environment is important to you
