Alumni Affinity Groups

The College of Wooster supports various alumni affinity groups, many of which are open to current students as well. Currently, we have both identity-based and career-based affinity groups. Often, affinity groups will have special gatherings at on-campus events or hold their own regional events. Alumni can also connect with affinity groups through FSCC discussion boards for social and career conversations between students and alumni. The College now also offers pre-professional advising and Pathways for current students, some of which align with career-based affinity groups.

Wooster Magazine

All alumni can receive the Wooster magazine from the College, which helps keep our alumni current on what is happening on-campus. The Wooster magazine often highlights alumni, faculty, and current students, and alumni can request to have life updates included in the magazine.

Regional Events

Alumni can connect with one another, as well as current and prospective students, at regional events. Regional events are held annually throughout the United States and are frequently offered internationally as well. Such events include I.S. Monday celebrations, regional happy hours, affinity group events, signature alumni events, and Black & Gold Dinners, among others.

Scot Spirit Kits

The Office of Alumni & Family Engagement offers free Wooster swag for alumni planning an event with fellow Scots in their area.  The Office of Alumni & Family Engagement will send you a Scot Spirit Kit to help bring the Fighting Scots spirit to your gathering – all you need to do is send us the details of your event in advance!

Alumni Newsletter

Alumni receive monthly updates from the Office of Alumni & Family Engagement which includes information on upcoming events, alumni features and highlights, and important campus updates.
