Who Are We?
International Student Services (ISS) supports international students, global nomads, and language assistants as we celebrate their diverse backgrounds and identities on campus and beyond. We offer abundant resources regarding academics, employment, taxes, life at Wooster and in the US, social and cultural issues, etc. to help international students thrive in their U.S education.

Get involved!
There are many ways to engage with the campus community and beyond. We encourage all Wooster students to expand their horizons and participate in ANY group(s) that interests them. ISS offers options for those interested in sharing their cultures and learning about others.
Friends of International Students (FIS), also known as the “Host Family Program,” is a non-residential host family program for international, exchange, and global nomad students and language assistants. It is a cooperative effort between ISS and volunteers in the local community. Our goal is to connect students with local families who will support their experience here as well as enjoy the opportunity for cultural exchange.
The International Student Alumni Network (ISAN) is an informal group of current and former international students and friends at The College of Wooster. The group is maintained collaboratively by ISS and the Office of Alumni Relations. The mission of ISAN is to ensure a vibrant international presence at Wooster and to provide networking opportunities for current and past Wooster students.
There are a variety of events planned this year, providing many opportunities to explore international issues and the various cultures that our global community has to offer.
