Early Decision I & II: November 1 & January 15

Early Decision is considered binding, so, if you choose to apply under this option, you must also submit the Early Decision Agreement. This is an ideal option if you are certain Wooster is your top-choice. Learn about the Benefits of Applying Early Decision.

Early Action: November 15*

Early Action is a non-binding option that offers you an admission notification earlier in the process, and still allows you to consider other colleges and universities. Early Action applicants have until May 1 to make their final college decision.
*Students applying for financial aid should submit the FAFSA by January 1, 2025 (Wooster’s Code: 003037).

Regular Decision: February 15

Our Regular Decision deadline provides admission notification by April 1 for a May 1 enrollment deadline. The preferred FAFSA deadline is also February 15, but we encourage adding Wooster to your list of schools as soon as you know you plan to apply. Please note that some of our scholarships have a January 15 application deadline.

Enrollment Deposit

The non-refundable enrollment and security deposit of $400 is payable on or before May 1 (with the exception of Early Decision candidates). Two hundred dollars of the enrollment deposit will be used to cover orientation expenses. The balance will be held until graduation or withdrawal from the College.

Appeal of an Admissions Decision

Any applicant who is denied admission may appeal that decision by filing a written request for review with the Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management within thirty days of the decision. A committee review of the original credentials and any additional supporting information the applicant wishes to submit will occur, and the applicant will be informed of the results of the review in a timely manner.
